Development

This is a group project that consists of four members including me. Each of the group members is tasked to create a level of the game. Then, the levels created are combined into a much bigger game at the end of the semester. I had fun creating this world as it is the first time I tried implementing the tutorial system that guides players to the end-goal.

This assignment explores the basics of making a 3D game environment using Unity. I got to implement models, textures, usage of colliders and scripting.

This assignment opened the doors for the building of elements that make up a game. UI, game rules, etc. (add more here)

This is also my first encounter of the gimbal-locking problem by cameras of most first-person-view games and said problem can be solved by assigning the rotational script to both objects, which refers to the object and the camera.
